Our Research

The nanotechnology research lab of Dr. Atom Sarkar is primarily dedicated to studying neuroscience as it relates to cancer and Parkinson’s disease.  Using the latest technology available, including atomic force microscopy (AFM), we study these diseases on a population, individual, and molecular level.  This comprehensive approach to neuroscience allows a direct improvement in the clinical treatment options by furthering our understanding of human biology and disease progression.
